I have loved living in Austin so far, but lately the weather has been sub par & has made me feel like I'm back in Michigan! The rainy days & chilly nights have inspired me to share my 'lazy day' look with all of you.
On my days off I like to be cozy, but I also like to get sh*t done. This look is the perfect in between - allowing me to cozy up at home, but still be seen in public!
The look is crazy simple, but still makes you feel put together! All you need is your favorite cozy crewneck (mine is from the Central Michigan University bookstore) & your go-to black leggings.
This is all I wore while lounging at home!
When it was time to head out (for me this meant grocery shopping & a very necessary trip to Home Goods) I grabbed my denim vest & converse! It gave off the perfect amount of effort & totally disguised the fact that I had spent the rest of my day watching Netflix *sorry not sorry*
As far as my hair goes I went with a half up half down look - simple, but trendy! It didn't get messed up while I was laying on the couch & I didin't have to do a thing to it when I decided to leave the house - YES!
I've found a vest can make just about any lazy day outfit look more put together! You could get a similar look with a teddy vest & a long sleeve tee shirt! Either way you are guaranteed to look effortlessly stunning!
Give this look a try next time you want to stay cozy, but still feel good about leaving the house!
