Merit Coffee
I finally made my way over to South Lamar in Austin to check out the newest Merit Coffee!
While this shop is local to San Antonio (and is literally called Local Coffee there) it has made a name for itself in Austin & even in Dallas! Not only do they have their own shops, but they roast their own beans (Merit Roasing Co) that are used in shops across Texas!

The location of this shop is pretty incredible. South Lamar has so much to offer, and you can even see the city through the shop windows. There was plenty of parking, and seating, which ya'll know is a must for me!
There was a very local vibe, as there were a lot of people out and about, running errands, walking their dogs, and stopping by after a workout across the street. It is a great friendly/neighborhood feeling.
The vibe of this place was very 'work from home' friendly on both the outdoor patio, and the indoor space. My favorite part of this shop was the cozy corner with a sofa & two vintage styled chairs.
I could spend an insanely long time sitting here sipping coffee & getting work done!
It is super photo worthy too which is perfect for the insta ;)
The large windows throughout the shop let light in & there are so many plants inside making the space feel full of life.
As for coffee Bryan got a mocha & I got a vanilla latte. The syrups were house made & certainly did not disappoint!
I surprised Bryan with a donut - that he did not share so it must have been pretty great!

I am fairly certain we will see Merit continuing to expand across Texas, and potentially even further in the near future! I can not wait to see where they go next.
